I'm not asking for sympathy... Honestly, I was just kind of surprised. You don't think of that kind of thing until it comes in the mail.
I won't be going and for two reasons. 1 - I don't want to go. I keep in touch with those I want to keep in touch with. 2 - It's between the wedding and the honeymoon. I can't afford to take the time off of work.
Anyway... Damn...

My 20th was last year. Since I live here in the US, I never get home to attend these events, but realistically, I don't think I would go anyway. I left high school far behind a long time ago. Kind of explains why I went away to school, traveled and worked around the world. Other than a couple of really inspiring teachers, the rest I could take or leave... and I left!
(wow, does that sound too cynical?)

Nope. If I was motivated to attend, I would make it happen at least once. Like you, my life has been lived looking forward, and I just don't have much to say to those who have stayed in the ole hometown for 30 years. You get tired of answering questions about the world from those who have studiously avoided it, ya know?

I've never been and won't. As I've said, I figured I didn't like most of the people then, I don't know why I would like them now LOL.
Dag gone it, Matt! I saw the title of your thread, looked at Steve and said "Oh no, something else has happened to Matt!". I was afraid a car accident, something with your boss, etc. I thought it was something bad...don't do that to me!
